This means you will get plenty of classic shows and movies to choose from, as well as staples you've come to know and love. It's also a great choice for watching with kids, with a strong selection coming from Nickelodeon.
So far, so good, but some things become apparent when you start comparing it to the competition, though. As it currently stands, there's not enough original content to make it compelling for new users. The majority of its new content is still on the way. Its app experience isn't faring any better either, being ridden with long loading times and frequent crashes. The road ahead will be long and arduous.
Banking on nostalgia
Paramount+ is a little bit of a surprise in an industry that's already congested with various streaming services. What makes it stand out is the large library of classic shows and movies that it can tap into. However, that won't be enough to have users wanting if it does not deliver on any new original content and fix the issues plaguing its mobile platforms. Only time will tell.
